Life Drawing - Construction of the Head

Life drawing assignment! I'm very happy with my progress with head construction.  Our very first assignment was the Head and Skull study, and that honestly didn't go so well for me.  But now I'm more confident with my ability to draw a head in 3D space!

Video Game Boss Designs

Hey guys! I've been keeping myself on a tight schedule, staying on top of projects and making time for myself as well.  Most of my beginning-of-term projects are nearing the end-stage of things, but aren't quite finished yet. So, to hold you over, here's a fun side-project I've been putting some time into!  The 3D Game Design students are making a video game based on the ideas of elementary school students from across the river, and we were asked to help design some of the boss characters!  I aspire to be a character designer when I graduate, so I was really excited to help and did a lot of character designs!

Lady Knights!

Another drawing jam!  I've been itching to do this one for a while, but had trouble coming up with good designs for characters.  This was done using this randomizer.

Axe. Athletic. Cranky. Persian. Dragon.  Can't wait to ink and paint her digitally!

FUN FACT: when I was a toddler I wanted to be a boy so I could be a knight when I grew up.  I have since learned you don't need to be a boy to defend your country's/family's honour and destroy your enemies UwU

"Ryan" Style Selfie

Another one for the drawing jam!

After watching the documentary "Ryan", we thought it would be cool to draw a self portrait depicting physical alterations based on the positive and negative things that had happened to us throughout our lives.  It was certainly interesting to think about how my life has affected me, and this selfie could have turned out way differently if I had focused on other aspects of my life instead of the ones that I had.  So this was a really cool drawing jam to do!
